The Oft-Requested Barney Song

I’ve noticed that a lot of folks are arriving here looking for the “Barney Song.” I’m guessing what you are looking for isn’t the song I wrote in high school about hating Barney (I think there’s probably only three people at best interested in that), but instead you’re probably looking for the song from the PBS show.

Unfortunately for those of you who like the big purple dinosaur you won’t find any of his songs here. What you will find is a song I wrote and recorded with my band in high school called “The Barney Song,” which includes the ever-inspired chorus “I hate Barney, oh I hate Barney…” I still think it’s a pretty clever little song for having been made up on the spot at a party.
